Cindy Sheehan Complains About Right-Wingers 'Spewing Filth'

Cindy is upset.

Apparently, right-wingers are being ugly, nasty and mean to her *sniffle* and that is upsetting her.

Maybe, as an exercise in good humor, we should look back on some of the things Sheehan has said. I mean, a person this sensitive must be all sunshine and rainbow fun-time happiness, right??  (At the VERY least, I would expect no filth spewing . . .)

As reported by the ever lovely Matt Drudge:

Name calling, not very nice . . .but wait it gets MUCH better!!  This next set of quotes are reported to be taken from the same speech!  Imagine all that fun!

April 27, 2005:
"They’re a bunch of f---ing hypocrites! And we need to, we just need to rise up..." Sheehan said of the Bush administration.

"If George Bush believes his rhetoric and his bulls---, that this is a war for freedom and democracy, that he is spreading freedom and democracy, does he think every person he kills makes Iraq more free?"

"The whole world is damaged. Our humanity is damaged. If he thinks that it’s so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go to this war."

"We want our country back and, if we have to impeach everybody from George Bush down to the person who picks up dog s--- in Washington, we will impeach all those people."

WOW! 

So, I am now expected to feel sorry for this poor woman who is so brutally picked on by the bully right-wingers?  As a woman, as a mother, I feel badly that she lost her son (it would take a harder woman than I not to), BUT I have about had it with the victim she has become. 

Saint Cindy, the martyr!!  P-L-E-A-S-E!!! 

I guess it is ok for her to spew her anger, hate, and self-serving anti-war, anti-American garbage everyday, but let one conservative call her out, use the VERY tactics she has used and it is 'Spewing Filth'.   (As a note, there are some that use vulgar and offensive language against Cindy.  My thoughts on that are, if you can't find a better word to use, don't speak.  Makes us look bad . . . and we don't need that.)

She has joined ranks with Michael Moore, who is well known for his all-around filthiness, who is using his web site to post her thoughts and feelings. 

They ask why we are fighting this war.  (Guess she has never read a news paper or seen television) 

They brag about new digs. (Because you can't pick your neighbors, not even when you are President)

She wants to ask the President why her son had to die in Iraq.  (Sadly, because he was a hero, a good soilder, and because he was fighting for liberty, and I thank him for that)

She talks about hypocrites, how the members of the Bush Administration are hypocrites.  Well, judging her by her own standards, she would also qualify as a hypocrite. Guess what my momma always said still holds true, takes one to know one.

To exploit the death of your child for political gain is repulsive. In every sense of the word. Her son gave his life defending America. Rather than mourn in private, and respect the memory of her son, she has made her son and herself the center of a media frenzy that is now out of her hands. Her family has reportedly asked her to stop this spectacle. I would agree with them, except that I think Sheehan serves a greater purpose.

She is showing the world that the 1960's leftist crowd is still alive and well and doing what they do best. Making sure that we all know how much they hate America and her allies. (As if we were not aware. Protest Warriors have known and worked against these misguided folks for over a year, at least, but this time major media is ALL over it. Must be the mom thing.)

To malign this poor woman would satisfy me personally, I admit that, but it would be wrong. She is doing more damage with the support of MoveOn.org than I could EVER manage with my Blog and the Texas Protest Warriors!

I say let the protesters do their thing . . . because hippies in tie-dye in 2005 are SO effective!

All she needs to do is keep talking . . . keep making the ridiculous statements such as:

"My son was killed in 2004. I am not paying my taxes for 2004. You killed my son, George Bush, and I don't owe you a penny...you give my son back and I'll pay my taxes. Come after me (for back taxes) and we'll put this war on trial." (Yeah, do that and see how that works out for you. The IRS does not care who you are. They would go after the Pope if they thought he was holding out on them . . . And, this begs the question, as a liberal, shouldn't she be HAPPY to pay those taxes?

Or this:

"Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a PNAC Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel. My son joined the army to protect America, not Israel. Am I stupid? No, I know full well that my son, my family, this nation and this world were betrayed by George Bush who was influenced by the neo-con PNAC agendas after 9/11."

I wonder if Al Franken is worried that he may be replaced at Air America . . . because pearls of wisdom, jewels like this are SURE to land her a major media gig! I wonder if all her new found fame will keep her warm at night.

I wonder if the media will still be calling after Bush goes back to D.C. and America loses interest.
